The UK/EU regulations dictate that an e-bike must not exceed the rated power of 250W to be road-legal. ""The Buyer understands it is illegal to have a functioning Throttle or run the de-restricted system on-road and could result in serious legal implications""
The bike will come preset to the road-legal mode of 250W by default. You will need to read, sign and return the ''THROTTLE AND PRODUCT DE- RESTRICTION TERMS OF USE DISCLAIMER'' Then we will send you the de-restriction code.
Each time the ebike is switched off, the system automatically resets to the road legal 250W mode. This means that you you will need to input the special code (through the LCD Dashboard) each time you wish to access full power.
